Hishico professional audio-visual systems infuse modern public cultural spaces with the “sound of intelligence” and the “rhythm of light and shadow.”
A library serves as a cultural landmark for a city—a public space that embodies the heritage of literature and conveys the warmth of civilization. To further enhance the reading experience for patrons, upgrade the library’s service capabilities, and diversify public cultural activities, the Sanmen County Library recently completed a smart upgrade of its audio-visual equipment. The project successfully integrated three core systems from the Hishico brand: an IP broadcasting system, a professional sound reinforcement system, and stage lighting. By equipping this hub of literary culture with digital, professional audio-visual equipment, the library has infused new vitality into the traditional reading space.
IP Broadcasting System: Delivering Information “Instantly”
Upon entering the library, the first noticeable change comes from the ubiquitous yet discreet Hishico IP network broadcasting system. Compared to traditional analog broadcasting, this system—based on the TCP/IP network protocol—offers significant advantages in terms of digitalization, intelligence, and zone-based management.
• Precise Zone-Based Control: From the central control room, administrators can issue broadcast tasks—either individually or in combination—based on the specific needs of different functional areas (such as the children’s lending section, adult reading room, multipurpose auditorium, and exhibition area). Friendly reminders about opening and closing times, event announcements, and emergency evacuation notices can all be delivered precisely on a point-to-point basis, ensuring that information reaches its intended audience efficiently without disturbing readers in key areas.
• Clear and Natural Sound Quality: Whether it’s the gentle flow of background music or the clear and distinct announcements for locating visitors, Hishico IP broadcasting system delivers excellent speech intelligibility and music fidelity. Even in large, open lobbies with high ceilings, the sound remains full and rounded, free of echoes and feedback, creating a comfortable and elegant listening environment for patrons.
A Play of Light and Shadow: A “Concerto” of Professional Sound Reinforcement and Stage Lighting
If IP broadcasting is the “nervous system” of a library, then professional sound reinforcement and stage lighting in large spaces are its “soulmates” when hosting high-quality cultural events. The highlight of this upgrade lies in the comprehensive transformation of the multipurpose hall.
Professional Sound Reinforcement System: The Hishico technical team strictly adhered to national standards for auditorium sound reinforcement and custom-designed a complete speaker layout for the multipurpose hall, consisting of professional floor-standing speakers (SK-710, SK-715) and ceiling-mounted speakers (SK-108GB). The system utilizes a high-quality digital audio processor, combined with precise sound field calibration, to ensure that no matter where in the auditorium the audience is seated, they hear clear, rich, and natural vocals and music. Whether it’s an academic lecture where every word from experts and scholars is a gem, or the melodious sounds of a string quartet during a weekend performance, every detail of the sound is faithfully reproduced, greatly enhancing the professionalism and immersive experience of the events.
Stage Lighting: Hishico has infused this space with a “magical spirit.” A modern lighting system comprising LED par cans, LED panel lights, LED front lights, and 230W moving head lights, paired with a high-efficiency 1,024-channel lighting console, brings rich variations of light and shadow to the multipurpose hall.
• Creating Atmosphere for Themed Events: At the “Red Classics Recital,” a solemn yet warm color temperature evoked deep emotions; during the “Children’s Picture Book Theater Festival,” vibrant, colorful light spots followed the young actors as they moved and leaped, constructing an imaginative fairy-tale world.
• Reimagining the Ceremony of Reading Promotion: Even at a routine new book launch, appropriate front and backlighting designs can make guests’ silhouettes stand out more clearly, enhance the quality of on-site photographic documentation, and significantly boost the event’s promotional value.
Setting Sail Toward Wisdom: Cultivating a Culture of Reading in the City Through the Power of Technology
The collaboration between the Sanmen County Library and Hishico represents a deep integration of technology and cultural experiences. The new audio-visual system has not only significantly optimized staff efficiency and the library’s capacity to host events, but more importantly, it has reshaped readers’ perceptions of the library experience. Here, reading is no longer limited to flat text; instead, it becomes three-dimensional and vivid through high-quality audiovisual salons and immersive storytelling sessions.
A representative from the Sanmen County Library stated, “The ‘smart’ transformation we pursue is not a cold, mechanical accumulation of hardware, but rather a people-centered, seamless enhancement of service. The stability, reliability, and outstanding performance of the Hishico system give us full confidence in hosting more high-quality public cultural events.”
In the future, the Sanmen County Library will continue to leverage this advanced audio-visual platform to launch more innovative and content-rich reading promotion activities. As smart technology meets the rich aroma of books, the public cultural spaces of Sanmen are radiating unprecedented vitality and warmth.
