School Profile:
The High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China Hohhot Branch is a directly affiliated public secondary school jointly established by the Hohhot Municipal Government and the High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China. Located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, the school has a student capacity of 3,600 and 268 faculty and staff members. Covering a construction area of 130,000 square meters, the campus is laid out according to a "Four Clusters, Eight Centers" plan, and features a Youth Academy of Sciences, Student Development Research Institute, Teacher Development Research Institute, swimming pool, planetarium, concert hall, STEM Maker Center, Digital Experiment Center, Open Learning Center, Big Data Teaching Analysis Center, Creative Practice Center, Art Practice Plaza, and more.

● As a critical facility of the High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China Hohhot Branch, this auditorium plays a core role in the school's national smart campus cultural and sports development. In accordance with the "2023 Education Informatization Work Priorities" issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the "Construction Standards for Digital Campuses in Higher Education Institutions," this auditorium aims to promote the modernization of teaching and balanced development, enhance the quality of the learning environment, and foster students' comprehensive growth in academic knowledge and moral, intellectual, and physical development.
● This auditorium serves not only as a multifunctional venue for meetings, large-scale courses, academic lectures, teacher research activities, and artistic performances, but also as a showcase for the school's image. The high quality of the project's construction standards also reflects the importance the Ministry of Education places on education. Based on this, our company has conducted in-depth research and developed a tailored design plan to ensure the project meets the aforementioned requirements.
II. Project Requirements:
● The primary design goal for the school auditorium is to create a fully functional space suitable for diverse academic activities and social gatherings. The space must be equipped with a high-quality audio system to ensure clarity during speeches and performances. Additionally, flexible seating arrangements should be designed to accommodate audiences of varying sizes. For visual presentation, the configuration of stage lighting and projection equipment needs to be considered to meet diverse presentation needs. The overall design should conform to professional standards for educational environments, ensuring it is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
The client and the design institute have the following specific project requirements:
1.Ensure advanced, reliable, and high-cost-performance systems while achieving optimal economy and resource conservation through optimized design.
2.The video system must ensure that attendees from all angles in the venue can clearly see the displayed content.
3.The sound reinforcement system must meet the national first-class standard for multipurpose hall speech reinforcement systems, with clear and intelligible speech. Design indicators shall refer to the "Design Code for Sound Reinforcement System of Halls GB/T 28049-2011" standard.
4.The sound reinforcement system shall feature convenient wireless handheld microphone functionality.
5.The sound reinforcement system shall include high-sensitivity conference discussion microphones, with the chairman's microphone unit having priority speaking functionality.
6.The system shall have seamless audio-visual switching capabilities to meet the needs of various signal sources and different usage scenarios.
7.The system shall include remote video conferencing functionality to facilitate important remote academic meetings, enabling remote reporting, communication, and coordination between schools and with the Ministry of Education, thereby improving work efficiency.
8.The system shall be comprehensive, complete, and perfect, integrating lighting, machinery, projection, and audio-visual controls into one unified solution, eliminating complex operations. With a single button on a tablet computer, different meeting modes can be launched, simplifying operational procedures for students.
9.The lighting system needs to provide soft, bright, and non-glaring illumination for meetings, while for performances, it should be able to create a sense of stage space and time, shaping stage performance imagery.
10.The stage machinery and curtain system must meet the reliability and safety standards specified in "Safety of Stage Machinery Equipment on Stage," with load-bearing structures made of carbon structural steel, conforming to inspection and usage specifications. The fire resistance rating and color of the curtains shall meet requirements for daily meetings and artistic performances.
III. Solution:
1. Professional Sound Reinforcement System
In acoustic design, achieving good auditorium sound quality requires three conditions:

● The school auditorium is a multifunctional composite venue, undertaking tasks such as meetings, academic exchanges, lectures, debates, artistic performances, and film screenings. Its sound reinforcement system design therefore demands a high degree of comprehensiveness. However, due to its positioning at the school level, the acoustic design of such auditoriums is often overlooked. ● In Movie Playback Mode:
In movie playback mode, the system delivers high-fidelity sound quality, strong impact, and tight rhythmic sound effects, creating an immersive experience.
● The sound reinforcement design for this auditorium is based on the "Design Code for Sound Reinforcement System of Halls GB/T 28049-2011" standard, combined with the specific characteristics of a school auditorium.
2. Remote Video System
● Addressing current educational needs, we propose an efficient remote video subsystem solution. This system is specifically designed for academic institutions, featuring high-definition video transmission, real-time interactive communication, and convenient content management capabilities. It not only ensures smooth online teaching activities but also provides teachers and students with a reliable digital learning environment. The deployment of this system will significantly enhance the school's level of informatization and meet the diverse requirements of modern distance education.
The remote video system designed for this project implements the following functions:
1.Full-network remote conferencing: Enables full-network remote video conferences between different schools and between schools and the Education Bureau, involving numerous participating venues. The Hisco video conferencing system provides stable and reliable full-network conference applications, delivering full HD 1080P60 frames, CD-quality audio, and smooth performance. With 1M network bandwidth, it can transmit 1080P HD main video, 1080P HD auxiliary video, and high-definition document presentation simultaneously.
2.Point-to-point remote video conferencing: Enables point-to-point video conferences between two schools without requiring an MCU, such as for work exchange meetings between different schools, subordinate units, or branches.
3.Remote classes: Utilizes dual-stream technology to simultaneously transmit the presenter's image and teaching documents from the main venue to all listening venues; the listening venues' images can also be transmitted back to the main venue, enabling two-way interactive training.
4.Remote proctoring: For special talent examinations where this auditorium serves as a special examination venue, supports IP cameras accessing the video conferencing system via RTSP streaming. The images from each venue can be displayed via terminal output or MCU server TV wall output, supporting up to 64 split-screen images displayed simultaneously, providing a comprehensive view of the examination situation and improving the management level of educational examinations.
