Intelligent Buildingsss Background Music System Solution
I. Industry Background
• As an indispensable component of intelligent buildings, background music and public address (PA) system supports emergency announcements and high-quality background music to provide a comfortable office environment, serving as a a standard feature of modern Grade A intelligent office buildings. Integrated with with the building's fire alarm system, it enables orderly crowd evacuation during fire emergencies and constitutes a reliable voice evacuation solution for high-rise high-rise intelligent buildings.


II. Project Requirements
1. Big Data Integration: support integration with background music system with building centralized big data management platform.
2. Independent Audio Zoning for public areas, office areas and functional spaces with different audio sources to play multiple programs simultaneously.
3. High-fidelity, high-fidelity audio reproduction premium loudspeaker performance.
4. Flexible scheduled broadcast tasks configurable by week, day, hour, terminal, program and playback schedule for fully automated unattended operation.
5. Real-time audio streaming function for IP PA: stream audio from external audio sources from radio, cassette player, CD, MP3 and microphone to designated terminals for announcements, background music and live audio broadcasting.
6. Automatic daily broadcast of weather forecasts.
7. Built-in program monitoring and fire alarm integration; multiple IP fire signal collectors supported with pre-set all-zone or selected-zone emergency broadcasting modes on server management software.


III. Solution Design
• The core PA server is deployed in the central control room and integrated with building big-data platform for centralized real-time monitoring and system management on central monitoring screen. Regional PA nodes are linked via building's network infrastructure; IP adapter amplifiers are installed in floor low-voltage equipment cabinets and are connected to the central PA server through network switches to central server through network switches. IP audio decoders convert digital signals into analog audio and transmit them to power amplifiers and terminal loudspeakers for audio playback.


1)The system server includes the SW-IP8100, SW-IP8100R, and SW-IP8100R-KEY, together with a dedicated industrial-grade control host for core data processing and system management. Through password-protected management software, the server provides centralized control of paging, background music playback, scheduled broadcasting, terminal on-demand playback, priority announcements, and emergency fire broadcasting, ensuring secure and reliable system operation.
2) Paging terminal adopts SW-6002A desktop IP intercom microphone supporting single-zone or multi-zone announcements to individual zones or multiple selected zones.
3) Auxiliary equipment includes SW-IP8107D active monitor speaker, SW-IP8116 IP fire collector and standard equipment cabinet plus SW-3322D programmable timer for automatic power control of audio devices and scheduled program distribution. Operators remotely monitor the playback status and volume of each zone via server and monitor speakers.
4) Fire alarm integration is provided by SW-IP8116 intelligent fire interface which automatically interrupts the background music and switches to emergency broadcasting upon fire alert.
