Background Music System Solution for the Financial Industry
I. Industry Background
• As an essential module of the financial intelligent system, the background music and public broadcasting system supports high-fidelity background music playback and emergency paging within business halls and administrative office areas, creating a comfortable environment for both customers and staff.
• Loudspeakers deployed in the service hall are interconnected with the queuing host to realize intelligent voice broadcasting for queue management. Emergency alarm panels are installed beside ATM terminals. In the event of card trapping or other abnormal situations, customers can trigger one-touch emergency alarms for timely assistance.
II. Project Requirements
1. The system supports high-fidelity background music playback for financial business halls and administrative office zones.
2. Public spaces, office zones and all functional areas within administrative buildings can be divided into independent audio partitions with separate audio sources, enabling simultaneous playback of multiple audio programs.
3. The system integrates abundant practical functions such as one-touch emergency call, call forwarding, business consultation broadcast, access control linkage, and seamless interconnection with the queuing system.
4. Users can set up single or multiple scheduled broadcast tasks for different regions based on actual business needs. Tasks can be classified by week, date, hour, terminal, audio program and broadcast time. All preconfigured tasks run automatically without manual intervention, delivering humanized unattended operation and cutting manual maintenance costs.
5. The IP broadcast system supports real-time audio capture and live broadcast. It synchronously captures audio signals from external sound sources to the server and retransmits them to assigned IP broadcast terminals. Compatible sound sources include public/private radio receivers, tape recorders, CD players, MP3 players and microphones. This function fits scenarios such as service notice announcement, background music playback and radio program relay.
6. Weather forecast broadcast: The system automatically plays daily weather forecast voice broadcasts on a scheduled basis.
7. The platform supports audio monitoring and fire alarm linkage. Multiple IP fire alarm collectors can be connected concurrently. Alarm modes are configurable on the server software to trigger full-building emergency broadcasts or partitioned targeted alarms as required.
III. Solution Design
• The background music server of the Financial Building is deployed in the central control room and interconnected with the building’s video monitoring and perimeter security systems. All regional nodes of the background music system are connected through the building’s dedicated equipment network. IP network adapter power amplifiers are installed in the weak-current shaft of each floor. These IP network terminals connect to the IP broadcast system server located in the fire control room via network switches. The IP audio decoding terminals real-time decode control and audio signals issued by the server, convert digital audio signals into analog audio signals and transmit them to power amplifiers, before finally outputting sound through front-end loudspeakers.
1. The server hardware mainly comprises SW-IP8100, SW-IP8100R and SW-IP8100R-KEY. The system server is constructed by installing dedicated professional software on an industrial control computer, serving as the core management hub of the entire IP broadcasting system to undertake overall network data exchange and signal processing. It centrally controls full-system paging broadcasting and background music playback, and supports stable transmission of system data and audio streams. The device delivers core functional services including scheduled playback, terminal on-demand access, temporary broadcast insertion and emergency fire linkage broadcasting. Operators can manage audio file playback, temporary announcements, timed broadcast tasks, music library resources and daily background music playback through the supporting control software. The system adopts password verification login to effectively ensure overall operational security.
2. The system is equipped with the SW-6002A IP cloud desktop intercom paging microphone. This desktop IP paging station supports one-to-one and one-to-many intercom calls and targeted broadcast paging for single or multiple designated regional zones.
3. Auxiliary peripheral devices include SW-IP8107D monitoring speakers, SW-IP8116 IP network fire alarm acquisition terminals and supporting equipment cabinets. The system is equipped with an SW-3322D program timer to realize scheduled power management for audio devices. It supports timed power supply for audio equipment, automatic collection and playback of scheduled programs in designated areas, and intelligent power control for peripheral hardware. The deployed SW-IP8107D IP active monitoring speakers are centrally managed by the server software, enabling operators to real-time monitor the playback content and volume status of all front-end regional terminals.
4. The fire linkage system adopts the SW-IP8116 intelligent fire alarm interface, which interconnects with the building’s fire alarm system. In the event of a fire or other emergency, the system automatically terminates background music playback and activates emergency broadcast alerts.
